Cotelac’s special favorite
This is the story of an unwilling singer.
June 2007. A no musician in his thirties follows his nose and, during his lonely summer holidays, composed an album. During the two following months, he tested himself out on stages of Paris’ pubs and cafés. The front-row girls would be touched by his songs and lyrics. He would remember this. From jobs to work, a kid and a break-up later, life goes on… The will to write. The girls in the cafés haven’t forgotten him… He misses them.
March 2011, Olivier is back on stage. The song “Libre et léger” suddenly boosted his career. “It’s kind of a wishful thinking. I wrote it in one night, with no specific pretenses. I faced myself to found life was pretty amusing. The closest to me, I guess. I feel good singing it”.

Olivier Marois will be playing live at Le Gibus with Hangar on monday 24th october and on his own at l’International on monday 7th november!
